- Job Description:
- For over 3 years I have worked as a project engineer designing and coordinating hundreds of expansion joints for the US, Canada, and Asia.
Duties:
- Calculating the ammount of bridge deck and highway ramp movements due to concrete shrinkage and thermal expansion.
- Custom designing our product lines to work with state standard specifications and project specific specifications.
- Calculating stresses at the joint location due to anticipated traffic conditions and the corresponding design to handle those loads.
- Reading blueprints, checking blueprints, CAD drafting, project tracking, customer relations.
